Welcome to my professional development web log. I’ll be using this blog to periodically post my ideas about key issues within organisational leadership, change, learning and development, as well occasional views and interpretations about what’s going on in the wider world today.
For more information on my background and services, more detail on my approaches and a host of materials, links and resources for organisational professionals, please follow this link to my professional development website: http://www.aubynhoward.com/
I describe my overall approach to working in organisations as developmental. By this I mean that I am primarily concerned with how to help support natural processes of development within individuals, teams and organisations and that I am constantly looking to deepen understanding of these processes from a number of different perspectives.
My ideas are informed by a variety of approaches, including the emerging fields of integral philosophy, developmental psychology and psycho-spiritual psychology.
Those of you who know me will know how passionate I am about discussing and applying radical emergent ideas to the organisational domain. I am also passionate about supporting the development of organisational leaders and professionals engaged in bringing these ideas to life.
I am writing primarily for an audience of fellow organisational leaders and professionals, but I hope to appeal to others interested in the developmental approach and its application to organisational, societal and global issues.
I welcome any responses to my postings and will do my best to respond personally to any questions or challenges. Hopefully some interesting dialogues will develop. Thanks for reading and please visit again.
